Optimisation of  Transport Demand Management based on pedestrians motion analysis

iSensing is the main technology provider of the European FP7 funded transnational LSU project with partners in Czech Republic and Switzerland.

The aim of this project was to optimise Transport Demand Management in Liverpool and to deploy a network of sensors that would generate real-time pedestrian movement and dwell-time data for Merseytravel. This would enhance their transport network planning decision-making based on an enhanced understanding of how pedestrians move through our city in real-time.

The bespoke dashboard for LSU visualises real-time movement, dwell-time and provides alerts if certain thresholds (i.e. number of people within a particular zone) are reached.
